Why is my internet connection slow?
Are you wondering why your internet connection is slow? Don’t panic, there are several reasons for this!
First, we invite you to perform a speed test to find out your exact connection speed. Go to speedtest.net, or another site of your choice, and perform the test from a PC connected directly to your modem. For your information, this speed test will tell you your download speed, i.e. the speed at which you can download a file, view a web page or watch a series via streaming. You can also find out your upload speed, which is the speed required to send an email, upload a file to a server or share content online.

Please note that your connection speed also depends on how modern your devices are. The older your connected devices are, the more likely they are to be incompatible with the latest WiFi technologies. This will prevent you from getting the most out of your connection. On the contrary, modern devices offer a much smoother user experience.
