How can I tell if I have exceeded the allowances on my plan?
We understand. Being able to use your phone while abroad, be it for work or pleasure, is one of life’s essentials. So you’re probably wondering how you can tell when you’ve exceeded your usage limit. It is important to understand certain concepts in order to better manage the use of your mobile and take appropriate measures to avoid additional charges. Follow our advice to stay informed and control your spending.
- In both Luxembourg and more widely within Europe (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Germany, Greece, Guadeloupe, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Martinique, Monaco, New Caledonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion Island, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Saint Martin, Sweden and the United Kingdom), the non-allowance standard rate is capped at €50 as a protective measure. In other words, you’ll be able to use your data while travelling abroad until you reach the €50 limit.
- Eltrona sets the same cap outside Luxembourg and European countries. The aim is to prevent your data usage becoming too expensive at the end of the month.
Eltrona will notify you by text or by e-mail of you exceed the allowance limits included in your mobile plan.
