Why does my television switch itself off?

Recent televisions have an automatic standby function when they detect no activity for a certain period of time. Generally, all you need to do is touch the remote control when a message informs you that your television will soon be turned off. This will prevent it from switching off.
If your television switches off when it detects no activity for a certain period of time, do not panic! Simply switch your television back on. This will not affect your viewing in any way.
At the same time, your decoder may sometimes go into standby mode while your television remains on. Please note that the Eltrona box works in the same way as your television: if there is no activity for a certain period of time, it will automatically go into standby mode.

If the standby function on your Eltrona box bothers you, you can change the time before your decoder goes into standby mode to suit your preferences. To do this, go to "Settings" and then "Energy saving". The maximum time before your box goes into standby mode is 8 hours!
